Location & Safety

Kiteboarding at Kite Point,

Malpeque, Prince Edward Island

Malpeque, PEI

Kite Point in Malpeque is widely considered one of the best places to kiteboard on Prince Edward Island.

Tucked along the north shore, it offers a rare combination of steady onshore wind, flat water, and wide-open space, making it an ideal spot for both learning and progression.

At lower and mid tides, large areas of shallow water emerge, allowing riders to stand while practicing. For beginners this provides a safer, more controlled environment to build confidence and develop skills without the challenges of deep water.
